Volumetric Video Art (2011-2013)
Between the years 2011 and 2013, collaborators Alexander Porter, Jonathan Minard and James George generated a prolific number of artistic experiments using volumetric capture. This work laid the basis for what has now become volumetric filmmaking. We identified the themes, aesthetics, and technologies that are now central to the medium.
